La Flor de Cano Selectos No.3 UK Regional Edition

The Selectos No.3 is the third UK Regional Edition chosen from La Flor de Cano, following the Short Robusto (2010) and the Gran Cano (2013). 125,000 Selectos No.3 cigars have been produced, each sporting a unique band printed with the size name. They are presented in 5,000 cabinet boxes of 25 cigars

The Flor de Cano Selectos No.3 is a Cervantes size measuring 6 ½” (165mm) x 42 ring gauge and often affectionately referred to as a Lonsdale, having been named after the fifth Earl of Lonsdale, Hugh Cecil Lowther (1857–1944), who made the size famous. The Cervantes format is hard to find now though, only represented in regular production by the Montecristo Number 1. 

While the regular Flor de Cano brands are mixed filler, this release is made entirely of long-filler tobacco. One can expect a sweet floral beginning that includes a citrus freshness from this blend. As the cigar progresses this develops into a rich spiciness without ever losing its charm and tipping into bitterness.
